Welcome to Kerrie Denner

Background:

Kerrie is no stranger to self-starting, customer service, or entrepreneurialism. After years of working as a buyer for a large retailer, running her own jewelry company, and leading communications and outreach for a nonprofit organization, she landed at Durham & Bates.

“At first, I chose insurance for a new career opportunity. What I’ve discovered at Durham & Bates is that a lot of my previous experiences apply, especially when it comes to thinking like an entrepreneur.”

At her core, Kerrie is a people-person. Partnering with colleagues and clients is more than just part of her job. Doing so energizes her.

Having previously focused on clients on our Personal Insurance line, Kerrie has found a home as a member of our Commercial Insurance team. She has a specific knack for property protection, thanks to her architecture background. She also likes to exercise her architect’s brain while she’s traveling, one of her favorite pastimes. In fact, Kerrie has traveled to five continents, and hopes to see as much of the world as she possibly can.
